Adoption
Attorney Henniger served as winning counsel in the leading recent adoption case, decided in the Ohio Supreme Court, In re Walters. Attorney Henniger represented the biological mother against an adoptive father who was seeking to set aside the adoption after he filed for divorce. The court did not permit him to set aside the adoption and the court made major decisions regarding the procedure for determining whether a parent’s consent is required for adoption.
